Jasoday Tablet contains loratadine, an anti-allergic medicine. It works by blocking the action of the natural chemical histamine in the body. It helps to relieve allergic symptoms like a runny or blocked nose, watery eyes, itching and redness of the skin.
It should not be used for children below 2-years of age. This medicine can make you feel drowsy, tired, have headaches and increased appetite. Inform your doctor if you have any other medical conditions and are on any medicines.
There is limited information about the effects of Jasoday Tablet on human pregnancy. Use only if prescribed by your doctor. Consult your doctor before taking any medicine during pregnancy.
Jasoday Tablet passes into breast milk and may cause harm to the newborn baby. Hence, it should not be used by breastfeeding women.
Jasoday Tablet has no impact on the ability to drive. However, if you feel drowsiness or dizziness after taking this medicine, avoid driving.
You should not drink alcohol while you're taking Jasoday Tablet as it can make you feel sleepy.
Talk to your doctor if
Excess of Jasoday Tablet can cause sleepiness, drowsiness, increased heart rate and headache. If you have taken too much of this medicine, then contact your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital immediately.
If you missed any dose of Jasoday Tablet, then take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
