Assuloc Mr Tablets is a combination medicine used for the symptomatic treatment of painful muscle spasms and to reduce swelling and inflammation in the joints and bones. It consists of three active ingredients: aceclofenac, paracetamol, and chlorzoxazone. This medication is also used to alleviate pain following operations and surgeries.
It decreases the release of chemicals responsible for inflammatory reactions, such as prostaglandins, relaxes muscles, and blocks the transmission of pain signals to the brain from the site of pain. You should take this medicine as advised by your doctor, preferably after meals to avoid an upset stomach.
Assuloc Mr Tablets has to be taken as advised by the doctor with a sufficient amount of water. It is taken as directed by your doctor and preferably after meals.
It is unsafe to take Assuloc Mr Tablets during pregnancy. Hence, it should not be taken by pregnant women. Taking this medicine during pregnancy can cause defects in the baby's heart or even delay of delivery or increase the risk of bleeding.
It is advised not to use Assuloc Mr Tablets if you are breastfeeding.
It is advised not to drive or use machines when you have taken Assuloc Mr Tablets as it may cause dizziness.
It is advised to avoid the consumption of alcohol during the treatment with Assuloc Mr Tablets as it may worsen your liver problems and other side effects.
Talk to your doctor if
Taking Assuloc Mr Tablets in high doses may result in serious liver and kidney damage. Other symptoms of overdose include headache, nausea, vomiting and stomach pain. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
If you missed any dose of Assuloc Mr Tablets take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
Do not take Assuloc Mr Tablets without consulting your dentist. The underlying cause of toothache can be different. Therefore, do not self medicate.
No, it is not safe to take any other medicines to relieve pain along with Assuloc Mr Tablets . Concomitant use of painkillers can cause adverse effects like gastrointestinal bleeding and liver damage.
