This product is an absorbable surgical suture designed for use in various surgical procedures. It is constructed from purified collagen derived from the serosa of beef or the submucosa of sheep. The suture undergoes a chromic salt treatment, which extends its absorption time and provides increased tensile strength retention over a period of 21 to 28 days.

The suture material is naturally monofilament in construction and is undyed, appearing in its natural color. It is classified as USP size 1 and has a length of 100 centimeters. The suture is designed to be absorbed by the body's tissues over approximately 90 days.

Sterilization is achieved through radiation, ensuring product safety and efficacy. This specific configuration includes a 45 mm round body needle made of SS 420 stainless steel, identified by the designation Round Body-H. The needle is silver in color.
