This product consists of synthetic absorbable sutures designed for surgical wound closure. The suture material is polyglecaprone 25, a monofilament that is smooth and exhibits minimal tissue drag. It is engineered to be absorbed by the body through hydrolysis over a period of approximately 91 to 119 days, eliminating the need for suture removal in many cases.

The suture diameter is classified as USP 4-0, indicating a specific gauge suitable for various tissue types. Each suture is pre-attached to a 17mm, 3/8 circle round body needle. This needle geometry provides a moderate curvature, facilitating precise tissue manipulation and passage in surgical procedures.

The undyed nature of the suture allows for clear visualization during surgery. The product is supplied in sterile foil packages, with each package containing one suture-needle combination, and the total quantity per order is 12 such foils.
