Coversyl Plus Hd Tablet is an anti-hypertensive medicine. It is used for the treatment of high blood pressure. Coversyl Plus Hd Tablet is a combination medicine and contains a combination of two medicines Perindopril and Indapamide.
It works by removing excess fluid from the body and blocking the production of certain chemicals which tightens the blood vessels, this makes the blood flow easier. High blood pressure is a critical health condition and hence it is very important to take your medication on time along with following a healthy lifestyle. If hypertension is not treated well, it can affect many other organs of the body and can increase the risk of other conditions such as a heart attack, stroke, heart failure etc.
This medicine should not be used during pregnancy as it may harm the growing foetus, if pregnancy is detected while you are taking this medicine immediately inform your doctor.

Components of this medicine may pass into breast milk. It should not be used by a lactating woman.
This medicine does not affect the alertness of an individual. However, it can lead to low blood pressure in some people which is usually accompanied by fainting and dizziness. Avoid driving if you experience any of such symptoms.
You should not consume alcohol if you are taking blood pressure-lowering medicine. Take your doctors advice if you have a habit of drinking regularly.
Talk to your doctor if
An overdose of Coversyl Plus Hd can lead to an excessive drop in blood pressure accompanied by nausea, vomiting, cramps, dizziness, sleepiness and frequent urination. If you have taken too much of this medicine inform your doctor immediately or visit your nearest hospital.
You should never miss a dose of blood pressure-lowering medicine as missing a dose can lead to an increased risk of complications. Try to take the missed dose as soon as possible. Skip the missed dose if it is already time for the next dose and do not take two doses of this medicine together.
Coversyl Plus Hd Tablet should be taken before meals preferably in the morning or as advised by your doctor.
It works by the combined action of its two active ingredients Perindopril and Indapamide. Perindopril works by inhibiting the formation of a chemical responsible for tightening blood vessels, hence reduces the blood pressure by making the blood flow easier. Indapamide removes excess fluid and salt from the body.
