Combace Eye Drop is a combination medicine containing Prednisolone which is a steroid and Moxifloxacin which is an antibiotic medicine. It is used for the treatment of steroid-responsive conditions of the eye where there are also chances of bacterial infection of the eye. It works by reducing swelling, itching and redness of the eyes.
It also works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Pain or irritation in the eye and temporary blurring of vision are its common side effects.
Combace Eye Drop is to be used locally as Eye Drops only and there are fewer chances of absorption in blood Still this medicine should be used under medical supervision by a pregnant woman.
