The Aqmen AMP2478 is an absorbable surgical suture designed for wound closure. This product consists of a 90 cm strand of USP size 2 suture material, composed of polyglactin-910 with an integrated antibacterial agent, triclosan, giving it a violet coloration. The suture is designed to provide wound support for approximately 28 days as it is gradually absorbed by the body.
Each unit is supplied sterile and ready for use, packaged in a foil to maintain its integrity and sterility prior to application. This configuration is intended for use in various surgical procedures where absorbable material is indicated.
