Aqmen - A2213 - Sutures A2213 AqGut Catgut Type USP 2-0-12 Foils

The Aqmen A2213 is a sterile, absorbable surgical suture designed for wound closure. This product is manufactured from processed submucosa of animal intestines, specifically processed to create a chromic catgut material. The chromic treatment enhances tensile strength retention and prolongs the absorption period compared to plain catgut.

Each unit consists of a 152 cm length of suture material, presented in a foil packaging to maintain sterility and integrity. The suture is classified as USP 2-0, indicating its diameter and tensile strength according to United States Pharmacopeia standards. This particular configuration is provided without an attached needle, allowing for flexibility in surgical technique and needle selection by the practitioner.

The sutures are intended for single use and are supplied in a box containing 12 individual foil-wrapped units.
