Aqmen - AMP2421 - Sutures AMP2421 POLYSOLVE + VICRYL type USP 1-12 Foils

This surgical product is a sterile, absorbable suture designed for wound closure. It is composed of a synthetic absorbable polymer, specifically Polyglactin-910, which has been formulated with an antibacterial agent, Triclosan, to help reduce the risk of surgical site infections. The suture material is violet in color, which can aid in visibility during surgical procedures.

Each unit contains a 90 cm length of suture material with a USP size of 1. The suture is attached to a 40 mm needle, which is a 1/2 circle reverse cutting type with an OR8 configuration, suitable for penetrating tough tissues. The product is supplied in a box containing 12 individual foil-wrapped sterile units, ensuring product integrity and ease of dispensing in a surgical setting.

The absorbable nature of the suture means it is gradually broken down and absorbed by the body over time, eliminating the need for removal.
