The Aqmen AM9826S is a sterile, absorbable surgical suture composed of polydioxanone. This monofilament suture is designed for use in approximation of soft tissues and ligation where extended wound support is required. The material undergoes hydrolysis in biological tissue, leading to gradual absorption over time.
Each unit contains a 35 cm length of 1 USP size polydioxanone suture, violet in color, attached to a 23 mm, 1/2 circle reverse cutting needle. The needle is specifically designed with a port tip for enhanced penetration. This product is supplied in boxes containing 12 individual foil-wrapped sterile units.
