The Aqmen AM878 is a sterile, non-absorbable surgical suture designed for tissue approximation and ligation. This product is constructed from a monofilament polypropylene material, which is inert and provides a smooth passage through tissue with minimal drag. The suture is colored blue for enhanced visibility during surgical procedures.
Its non-absorbable nature ensures permanent wound support, making it suitable for applications where long-term tensile strength is required. Each unit contains a 45 cm length of USP 6-0 suture, attached to a 12 mm, 3/8 circle reverse cutting needle. The reverse cutting needle design is optimized for penetrating tough tissues, reducing the risk of tearing.
The suture is supplied in individual foil pouches to maintain sterility until the point of use. The package contains 12 individual foil-wrapped sutures.
