Aqmen - AM4241 - Sutures AM4241 AqGut Catgut Type USP 2-0-12 Foils

The Aqmen AM4241 is a sterile, absorbable surgical suture designed for wound closure. This product features a 76 cm length of chromic catgut suture material, classified as USP 2-0. The suture is presented in a foil packaging, with 12 individual units contained within each box.

The material undergoes a chromic salt treatment, which extends its absorption period and enhances tensile strength retention compared to plain catgut. This treatment also contributes to a smoother passage through tissue and reduces the inflammatory response. The suture is pre-attached to a 30 mm, 1/2 circle round body needle, facilitating precise tissue manipulation and secure knot tying.
