Aqmen - AM1326 - Sutures AM1326 AqMono Monocryl Type USP 3-0-12 Foils

The Aqmen AM1326 is a sterile, absorbable surgical suture designed for tissue approximation. It is composed of a synthetic copolymer of glycolide and epsilon-caprolactone, known as Poliglecaprone 25. This material is a monofilament, which contributes to its smooth passage through tissue and reduced drag.

The suture is dyed violet for enhanced visibility during surgical procedures. Each unit contains a 70 cm length of USP 3-0 suture, pre-attached to a 25 mm, 3/8 circle cutting needle. The needle is designated as AqFINE, indicating its specific design for precise tissue penetration.

This configuration is presented in a box containing 12 individually foil-packaged sutures, ensuring sterility until the point of use. The absorbable nature of the suture means it is gradually broken down by hydrolysis within the body over time, eliminating the need for removal.
