The Aqmen A2004 is a sterile, absorbable surgical suture composed of plain catgut. This material is derived from the submucosa of the small intestine of cattle. The suture is presented in a USP size 0 gauge, offering a diameter suitable for various surgical applications.

Each foil contains 152 centimeters of suture material. This product is supplied without an attached needle, allowing for flexibility in surgical technique and needle selection by the practitioner. The suture is designed to be absorbed by the body over time, eliminating the need for removal.

The plain catgut material provides approximately 10 days of wound support before significant loss of tensile strength occurs.
