Pregnancy

Can I receive Pemeetron Injection during pregnancy?

It is unknown or having limited data about the use of this medicine in pregnant women or pregnancy confirmed women. However, like other anti-cancer medicines this medicine may also show birth defects or genetically damaging effects. Consult your doctor before you receive this medicine.

Breast Feeding

Can I receive Pemeetron Injection while breastfeeding?

It is unknown or having limited data about the use of this medicine that it may or may not excrete from the breast milk. It is recommended to consult your doctor before receiving this medicine.

Driving

Can I drive if I have received Pemeetron Injection?

This medicine may cause fatigue. It is recommended to avoid activities like driving or operating machinery while you receive this medicine.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol while receiving Pemeetron Injection?

Alcohol is processed by an organ (liver) in the body and liver is the main source for anti-cancer medicines to metabolize.Alcohol consumption may impair the function of liver and increase the risk of adverse effects. It is strictly not recommended to consume alcohol while receiving this medicine.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

• You have kidney or liver problems
• You have any history of radiation therapy or planning to undergo it
• You are vaccinated or planned for any vaccination
• You have any heart problems
• You have any excess fluid present in and around lungs. If you are unsure consult your doctor.
• Pemeetron Injection is not relevant to use in children
• It is recommended to use effective contraceptive measures to avoid the risk of birth defects. It is recommended to matured males that not to become a father during the treatment and thereafter, up to 6 months.
• You have a known history of deficiency of folate and vitamin B12
• You have lower blood counts. If you are unsure, then consult your doctor.
