Pregnancy

Can I take Fostine 150iu Injection during pregnancy?

Fostine Injection is not recommended for be used during pregnancy.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Fostine 150iu Injection while breastfeeding?

It is not recommended to breastfeeding mothers.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Fostine 150iu Injection?

It is not expected that Fostine Injection will affect your ability to drive, but if you do not feel well or are unable to be alert, then avoid driving.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Fostine 150iu Injection?

There is limited information about the effects of Fostine Injection on alcohol, but avoid taking alcohol in excessive amounts.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

• You experience symptoms like pain and swelling in the stomach, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, difficulty in breathing, producing less urine etc. It can be a sign of a high level of activity in ovaries and it can be severe. In such situation, you should immediately receive treatment in hospital.
• You experience any kind of such symptoms even after stopping the treatment with Fostine Injection.
• You observe weight gain during the treatment.
• You are overweight, have any kind of blood disorder or have a family history with blood clotting disease, which can increase the risk of blood clot formation inside the blood vessels in pregnant women.
• During the treatment with Fostine Injection or such hormonal medicine, you may be at the risk of multiple pregnancies (pregnant with more than one child), ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside of the womb), or miscarriage.
• Regular check on dose and symptoms helps in reducing the risk of getting these symptoms.
• The doctor might suggest ultrasounds and blood tests to monitor your response to treatment.
