Zotargine 0.125mg Tablets

Zotargine Tablet contains methyl ergometrine. It is used after childbirth to prevent or stop uterine bleeding. Zotargine works by increasing the rate and strength of uterine contractions which helps in controlling bleeding.

Headache, high blood pressure, nausea or vomiting are some of the side effects of Zotargine Tablet. If side effects do not go away on their own or your condition doesn't improve over time then inform your doctor.

Dosage

Overdose

Symptoms of an overdose include nausea, vomiting, pain in the stomach, tingling sensation, numbness, seizures, increase in blood pressure, difficulty in breathing, decrease in body temperature, etc. If you have taken too much of this medicine, then contact your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital immediately.

Missed a Dose

If you have missed taking any dose of Zotargine Tablet, then take it as soon as you remember. If it's already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule.

Other General Warnings
