Zerodol Pt tablet is a prescription medicine recommended for persons with moderate to severe pain. It is a combination of three ingredients: Aceclofenac, Tramadol and Paracetamol/Acetaminophen. These three main components of Zerodol Pt tablets define its mode of action.
Aceclofenac is a part of a group of drugs called NSAIDs that helps in relieving inflammation and acts as a painkiller. Paracetamol also acts as a painkiller and helps reduce fever, whereas Tramadol is an opioid analgesic and relieves pain. All the components of Zerodol Pt tablets work by controlling certain chemicals in the brain and reducing sensitivity to pain.
It is indicated in persons with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, toothache, fever, headache, joint pain, etc. Directions for use of Zerodol Pt tablets should be strictly followed. It should be taken orally and only on a doctor's recommended dose and schedule.
Side effects of Zerodol Pt tablets include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhoea.
Zerodol Pt tablet use is not recommended in pregnancy. Please inform your doctor if you are pregnant.
Zerodol Pt tablets should not be consumed by women who are breastfeeding. Zerodol Pt tablets are known to pass into breast milk and lead to respiratory depression in infants. Please inform your doctor if you are nursing.
Zerodol Pt tablets can increase the feeling of dizziness and drowsiness. Hence, driving after taking this medicine should be avoided
Alcohol tends to increase the feeling of dizziness and drowsiness if taken along with the Zerodol Pt tablet; hence it should be avoided.
Talk to your doctor if
Do not exceed the dose of Zerodol Pt tablet above the advised dosage. Overdose can lead to severe side effects like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, liver damage. In case of any allergic reaction like swelling of the face or tongue, immediately rush to the hospital. Do not give Zerodol Pt tablets to someone you think has the same symptoms as you. It can lead to an overdose. This medicine should only be taken on a doctor's recommendation.
If you miss a dose of your Zerodol Pt tablets, take the tablet as soon as you remember. But if it is almost the time for the next dose, do not take the missed dose. Stick to the original dosing schedule and continue with the advised dosage. Consider setting an alarm if you tend to forget the medicine often. Don't alter or discontinue the medicine without consulting the doctor.
