Axiscab Emulsion is an anti-scabies medicine. Scabies is a skin condition that is caused by a mite. Axiscab Emulsion contains a combination of cetrimide and gamma benzene hexachloride as active substances.
It is used for the treatment of scabies only in patients who cannot tolerate other medicines or who have failed treatment with other approved medicines. Do not use this medicine to treat any other skin conditions other than that prescribed by your doctor. Axiscab Emulsion is meant for external application only.
Do not use more of the medicine or apply it more often than recommended. Particular care should be taken when using Axiscab Emulsion in infants, children, the elderly, individuals with other skin conditions like atopic dermatitis or psoriasis or those individuals who weigh less than 50 kg.
Limited information is available on the effect of Axiscab Emulsion in human pregnancy. This medicine should only be used in pregnant women if recommended by the doctor.
Axiscab Emulsion passes into human breast milk. If recommended for use by the doctor, avoid applying this medicine to the breast and other large areas of the skin that can come in contact with the infant.

As Axiscab Emulsion is meant for external application, cases of overdose are unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital. If you have applied extra quantities of it, wipe out the excess of the medicine with tissue or cotton.
If you have missed applying Axiscab Emulsion , apply it as soon as possible. If it's time for your next application, then skip the missed application and continue with your regular application schedule. Do not over-apply this medicine to compensate for the missed application.
