Noxlev Oz Tablets is an antibiotic medicine. Noxlev Oz Tablets is used for the treatment of diarrhoea caused by mixed organisms in adults. It is a combination medicine containing levofloxacin and ornidazole as its active ingredients.
It works by inhibiting the growth of infection-causing organisms, thus prevents the spread of infection. Take it in the prescribed dose and for the prescribed duration and never miss or skip a dose. Do not stop taking this medicine, always complete the entire course of treatment with antibiotic medicine.
Incomplete treatment may result in treatment failure and increase the risk of re-infection. You can take this medicine with or without food. Noxlev Oz Tablets should not be taken by children below 18 years of age.

Noxlev Oz Tablets should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water, with or immediately after your meal. Take it at a fixed time for optimal results. Do not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.

You may experience drowsiness, dizziness and visual disturbances when you are taking the Noxlev Oz Tablets . Caution is advised while driving or operating any machinery.
You should avoid drinking excessive alcohol while taking the Noxlev Oz Tablets as alcohol may worsen the side effects like drowsiness or dizziness.
Talk to your doctor if
An overdose of the Noxlev Oz Tablets may cause confusion, dizziness, impairment of consciousness, fits and nausea. Contact your doctor immediately in case of an overdose or rush to the nearest hospital.
It is advisable not to miss any dose of antibiotics as it can result in failure of therapy. If you have missed any dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose of this medicine to compensate for the missed one.
You are supposed to complete the prescribed duration by your physician. If you skip the dose or do not complete the course, it may cause resistance and decrease the effectiveness of treatment.
Avoid sun exposure when on treatment and at least 48 hours after discontinuing the treatment. In case you have to go out, wear full sleeves clothes and cover yourself.
Noxlev Oz Tablets is effective if you take it at the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. If you stop taking this tablet once you start feeling good, the chance of recurrence of the infection increases.
No, do not stop taking the Noxlev Oz Tablets before the prescribed duration. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured. You should complete the full course of treatment else there are chances of recurrence of infection.
