Bendazole Syrup is used in treating parasitic worm infections. It contains albendazole as its active component. Bendazole Syrup should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Also, inform the doctor about your detailed medical history before using Bendazole Syrup.
Bendazole must not be used during pregnancy. It has the potential to harm the unborn baby. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant or planning a pregnancy.
It is unknown if Bendazole passes into breast milk. Caution is advised when it is used while breastfeeding.
You may feel dizzy after a dose of this medicine. Caution is needed while driving or operating machines.

Symptoms of an overdose of Bendazole Syrup include diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea etc. If you think you had an overdose of this medicine and experience any unusual symptoms, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital
If you missed any dose of medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
Albendazole works by inhibiting or blocking the utilization of glucose by the worm and disrupts the metabolism of parasitic worms. Thus, kills them by depriving them of glucose and energy.
Yes, Bendazole Syrup is used to deworm, remove worms from the body. It will kill all the worms present in the stomach and intestine, provided you take it as advised by your doctor for the prescribed duration.
