Overview

Unihep B Md injection is used for active immunization against hepatitis B virus (HBV) infections caused by all known subtypes. It is suitable for use in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents up to 15 years of age who are not yet immune. Immunization with Unihep B Md injection is expected to help prevent hepatitis D, as hepatitis D (caused by the delta agent) cannot occur without the presence of a hepatitis B infection.
