Talk to your doctor if

• You have problems with your liver or kidneys
• You have muscle aches or pains or a family history of muscle problems

• If you have an underactive thyroid.
• If you are an alcoholic.

Or are taking ciclosporin, colestyramine, fibrates, antibiotics, antacids, etc.
