Vasicard Tablet is an anti-hypertensive medicine that helps in lowering down high blood pressure. It contains carvedilol as its active ingredient. This medicine also helps in preventing other heart problems.
The dose and duration of this medicine are decided by your doctor after accessing your condition. You should take this medicine at a fixed time for optimal results. Your doctor may suggest for few lifestyle modifications.

An overdose of the Vasicard Tablet can lead to adverse effects like decreased blood pressure, dizziness, low heart rate, etc. Always carry the package of the Tablet along with you for easy assessment of the severity of an overdose. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital
You should never miss a dose of the Tablet if you have missed taking any dose of this medicine then take the missed dose as soon as possible. Never take two doses to compensate for the missed dose.
Vasicard Tablet works by relaxing the blood vessels and thereby reducing the heart rate. It helps in improving the proper and sufficient blood flow to the heart.
You should never stop taking this medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor. Abrupt stopping of this medicine may worsen your condition. Your doctor will be regularly monitoring your medical condition and accordingly, treatment will be given.
Take the Vasicard Tablet exactly as prescribed by your physician. Do not alter the dosages and duration unless advised. Do not suddenly stop the medicine since it can have adverse reactions. Do not chew, crush or break the Tablet. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water.
Certain painkillers might interact with Vasicard Tablet. Ask your doctor for the right pain-killer you can use while taking the Vasicard Tablet.
