This medicine works by blocking a natural chemical in the body called angiotensin II, which normally causes blood vessels to constrict and leads to the body retaining salt and water. By blocking this chemical, tablet helps blood vessels relax, lowers blood pressure, and supports better kidney health. Take tablet exactly as your doctor has told you.

Swallow it whole with water, ideally with or after a meal, to minimise side effects. Try to take it at the same time every day for best results. Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, tiredness, and pain.

Do not take more than the prescribed dose. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it’s close to the next scheduled dose. Never double up doses.
