Metarmin Injection is used to treat nausea and vomiting. It contains metoclopramide as its active ingredient. Metoclopramide acts by increasing the movement of the food into the food pipe to the stomach and intestine.

Metarmin Injection will be given by a doctor or nurse thus chances of overdose are unlikely. However, if you experience any discomfort or specific symptoms such as tremors, slow or irregular movements, muscle twitching (metabolic alkalosis), weakness, drowsiness, a decreased level of consciousness, confusion, hallucination, heart or respiratory failure, inform your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital.
It is unlikely that the dose of Metarmin Injection will be missed if you are monitored in a healthcare set up. However, if you have missed taking any dose of this Injection, inform your doctor or nurse immediately.
