Montek LC Tablet

Montek LC tablets relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis, which may include a runny or stuffy nose, airway blockage, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and other allergic reactions. They contain a combination of montelukast and levocetirizine, which belong to the anti-allergic class of medicine. The medication works by blocking the release of chemical substances that produce allergic symptoms.

Headaches, dry mouth, and dizziness are common side effects of taking Montek LC. However, these side effects are temporary and will resolve on their own. If any of these side effects worsen, please contact your doctor immediately.

Some other tablets containing montelukast and levocetirizine are Telekast L , Montina L , Odimont Lc , Montair LC and Monticope tablets . • If it's time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.

• Levocetirizine blocks histamine a natural substance, which is produced by the body during allergic reactions.

Montek Lc Tablet should be taken as instructed by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not cut, break or chew the medicine. It should preferably be taken at night.
