The active ingredient in Coxifact is etoricoxib, which belongs to a class of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This medication helps relieve pain, reduce swelling, and alleviate inflammation by decreasing the formation of prostaglandins, chemicals in the body responsible for pain and inflammation.
Coxifact Tablet is also used for the short-term treatment of pain associated with various other conditions. It is important to take this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor, following the prescribed dosage and duration. You can take it with or without food, but it is advisable to take them with meals to minimize the risk of stomach upset.
Common side effects of Coxifact Tablet include stomach pain, swelling, dizziness, headache, irregular heartbeat, and high blood pressure.
