Vertistar Md 4mg Tablets contains betahistine as its active ingredient. It is used in the treatment of Meniere's syndrome (it is an ear disorder with symptoms like vertigo, ringing in the ears, hearing loss and nausea). This medicine improves blood flow in the inner ear and reduces pressure built in the ear.

The risk for humans after taking Vertistar Md 4mg Tablets during pregnancy is not known. It is advised to avoid using this medicine during pregnancy.
It is advised not to breastfeed during the treatment as it is unknown if Vertistar Md 4mg Tablets passes in human milk.
