Tak D tablet is used for gastric ulcers, benign duodenal ulcers, inflammation of the oesophagus, acid peptic disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and other gastric acid-related conditions. Tak D tablets are part of a class of Antacids, Antireflux Agents & Antiulcerants. Secretion of high amounts of acid in the stomach can cause gastric acid-related disorders.
The two salts that form the composition of Tak D are; Dicyclomine and Ranitidine. Dicyclomine belongs to a class of drugs called antispasmodics, which helps with cramps, and Ranitidine is an antacid, which reduces the acid in the stomach. The medication is only to be taken after medical advice.
