Pregnancy

Can I take Bolnol Plus Suspension 60ml during pregnancy?

• Bolnol Plus Suspension 60ml should not be taken during pregnancy especially during 3rd trimester as it can hamper the growth of the fetus and can also cause heart and kidney-related problems in the baby. It can delay the labour and increase the duration as both mother and baby are at a risk of bleeding disorders if consumed by pregnant women.
• During 1st and 2nd trimester, this medicine should be used only if needed and prescribed by your doctor. Women who are trying to conceive and taking treatment for infertility should take this medicine only after consulting the doctor.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Bolnol Plus Suspension 60ml while breastfeeding?

Components of Bolnol Plus Suspension 60ml passes in breast milk in low concentrations and may not be harmful to the breastfed baby. It can be used for short durations and at lowest possible dose if you are breastfeeding your baby. However, you should still inform your doctor if you are a breastfeeding mother.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Bolnol Plus Suspension 60ml ?

You may experience tiredness and dizziness after taking Bolnol Plus Suspension 60ml . Thus, it is advised not to drive if you experience these symptoms after taking this medicine.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Bolnol Plus Suspension 60ml ?

You should avoid consuming alcohol along with Bolnol Plus Suspension 60ml . It can increase the risk of liver disease and stomach bleeding.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

• You develop skin allergies like rashes, itching, papules, blisters, etc.
• You are already taking other medicines containing paracetamol or ibuprofen.
• You have high blood pressure or heart, kidney or liver diseases.
• You have a hereditary disorder like G6PD deficiency or porphyria (blood disorders).
• You are an alcoholic or recently had a major surgery.
• You are an elderly person as there is risk of getting the side effects.
• You may experience stomach bleeding and ulcers after taking this medicine.
• You have inflammation or disorder of stomach or intestine.
• You have a history of or suffering from asthma & nasal allergy.
• You are suffering from an immune disorder, where your immune system acts against the body tissues such as systemic lupus erythematosus.
• You are trying to conceive, you should discontinue this medicine.
• You are on any medicine or supplement.
