Precautions and Warnings

Pregnancy

Can I take Lamepil Tablet during pregnancy?

The use of this medicine may or may not be safe in pregnant women. If pregnancy detected while taking this medicine inform your doctor immediately. Do not stop taking your medicine until your doctor tells you to.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Lamepil Tablet while breastfeeding?

This medicine is not recommended to use in breast-feeding women as it was shown to pass in the milk production any may or may not show the side effects but close monitoring of the child may be necessary. Discuss your medical condition with your doctor before using this medicine.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Lamepil Tablet?

It may make you feel sleepy or dizzy or may cause blurred vision, double vision, lack of muscle coordination or a depressed level of consciousness, especially when starting treatment or increasing the dose. Do not drive when taking this medicine.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Lamepil Tablet?

Do not drink alcohol while you are using this medicine as you will feel exhausted.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

• If the patient with acute depressive or maniac episodes this medicine is not recommended to use.
• If you have observed any unusual signs like rashes
• If you have any behavioural changes or mood changes.
• If you have known history of kidney problems
