Febudac tablet is used to manage high levels of uric acid in the blood (hyperuricemia), most commonly associated with gout. Gout develops when excess uric acid forms crystals that deposit in the joints, leading to sudden episodes of intense pain, swelling, redness, and warmth. By controlling uric acid levels, Febudac tablet helps reduce the frequency and severity of gout attacks and supports long-term joint health.
It contains febuxostat as the active ingredient. Febuxostat works by inhibiting xanthine oxidase, an enzyme responsible for uric acid production in the body. By reducing the formation of uric acid, it prevents the buildup of crystals in the joints and helps maintain a stable uric acid balance.
With regular and consistent use as prescribed, it helps minimize flare-ups and prevents further joint damage. Febudac tablet should be taken strictly as directed by your doctor. The dose and duration of treatment depend on factors such as baseline uric acid levels, age, and associated medical conditions.
Do not stop or alter the dosage without medical advice. Regular blood tests may be required to monitor uric acid levels and assess treatment response. Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disease, liver or kidney problems, or any known drug allergies.
Also disclose all other medicines you are currently taking to avoid possible drug interactions. When used under proper medical supervision, Febudac tablet is effective in controlling uric acid levels, reducing gout attacks, and maintaining better joint comfort and mobility.

Chronic hyperuricemia is a condition of elevated uric acid levels in the body. It leads to the deposition of uric acid crystals in joints and tissues causing redness, swelling, stiffness, feeling of warmth and tenderness.
It is usually caused due to an unhealthy lifestyle that includes intake of food rich in purine (your body breaks down purine to form uric acid), alcohol, fructose (a type of sugar), certain medicines, etc. People who are obese and have certain medical conditions such as diabetes, poor kidney function, high blood pressure and metabolic disorders are more prone to develop hyperuricemia.
