Glimisave MV 2 tablet contains a combination of metformin, glimepiride, and voglibose as active ingredients. Insulin moves sugar (glucose) from the blood into the cells. Glimepiride lowers the blood sugar level by increasing the release of insulin hormone from the pancreas. Metformin decreases the production of glucose and also reduces its absorption in the body. Voglibose reduces the rate of digestion of complex carbohydrates. Less glucose is absorbed because the carbohydrates are not broken down into glucose molecules.
Some of the common symptoms of type 2 diabetes include increased urine frequency, increased hunger, increased thirst, tiredness, blurred vision, and weight loss. Your doctor may ask you to do blood tests like fasting blood glucose, post-meal blood glucose, and HbA1C for the exact diagnosis.
Glimisave MV 2 tablet is used for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet, exercise and single anti-diabetic medicines are not able to control the blood sugar levels adequately.
Glimisave MV 2 tablet can be given to children only if it is recommended by your doctor. Do not give this medicine to your child on your own.
