Etizola Beta 0.5mg Tablet is a prescription medication primarily used to treat anxiety disorder and Insomnia (Sleeplessness). Etizola Beta Tablet is a combination medicine containing Etizolam (benzodiazepine) and Propranolol (a beta-blocker).
Etizolam produces sedating and calming effects in users by acting on the brain to increase the inhibitory effects of a chemical messenger called GABA (Gamma-aminobutyric acid). Propranolol blocks a certain chemical messenger in the heart and blood vessels, which results in reduced heart rate, blood pressure, and workload of the heart. You should take Etizola Beta Tablet as recommended by the doctor.
It’s advised to complete the entire course of treatment as prescribed by the physician. Do not abruptly stop consuming this medicine as it may lead to withdrawal symptoms.
Overdose of Etizola Beta Tablet can cause poisoning or serious side effects. It can cause seizures, sedation, headaches, delirium, light-headedness, fainting, and shallow breath. If you encounter any of these symptoms or if you have overdosed, seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor immediately.
If you have missed a dose of the Etizola Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If you remember missing dose when it's already time to take the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled dose. Do not take both doses together as it can lead to overdose. Talk to your doctor if you have any further queries regarding this issue.
