It contains a combination of dapagliflozin, metformin, and sitagliptin as its active ingredients. This medicine should be used alongside a healthy diet and exercise routine to enhance blood sugar control.
Emsita Trio Tablet helps the body utilise insulin effectively, thereby lowering blood sugar levels. Emsita Trio Tablet can be taken with or without food at any time of the day, but it's best to take it consistently at the same time each day. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage, and it's important not to discontinue the medication without their guidance.
Abruptly stopping the medication may result in increased blood sugar levels, raising the risk of serious complications such as kidney damage and blindness. Common side effects of Emsita Trio Tablet include urinary tract infections, nasal congestion, sore throat, and upper respiratory tract infections. To prevent dehydration, drinking plenty of fluids while using this medication is essential.
Some individuals might experience fungal infections in the genital area, which can be managed by maintaining good hygiene. Before starting this medication, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver issues, a urinary tract infection, or if you are taking diuretics.
