Pregdot Tablet is used to prevent missed pregnancy and premature labour. It is also used for gynaecological disorders such as amenorrhea, irregular menstruation, and premenstrual syndrome. Pregdot contains Allylestrenol as an active ingredient which is a man-made form of the female hormone progesterogne.
This medicine works by imitating the actions of the natural hormone progesterone and is used for the treatment of menstrual & gynaecological disorder due to imbalance in the hormonal levels. It is not recommended for female children below 16 years. It is advised to discuss with your physician if you ever had undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, terminated pregnancy, or any kind of heart or kidney-related problems before taking this medicine.
Pregdot Tablet should be taken as instructed by your treating doctor.
Pregdot is used to prevent missed pregnancy as well as for maintaining pregnancy. It should not be used after delivery. However it is recommended not to use the same unless prescribed by your doctor.
This medicine is used only in certain pregnancy-related complications, hence it is advised to discontinue this medicine after delivery, as it may affect the breastfed baby.
This medicine does not affect your ability to drive or use machinery. However, if you experience side effects like dizziness, you should avoid driving or using machines.
Alcohol is not known to interact with this medicine. However, if you consume alcohol too often discuss it with your doctor.

Symptoms of overdose include drowsiness, palpitation, faintness, unusual muscle movement of the face and neck, fits, loss of consciousness. If you experience any symptoms or side effects, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
If you have missed taking this medicine, take it as soon as possible. If it's already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule.
