Ecolite Drops 15ml are a combination of four medicines, namely, ambroxol, guaifenesin, levosalbutamol, and menthol. It is used to treat wet cough. Ambroxol and guaifenesin thin and loosen the mucus to make coughing easier and clear the airways.
Salbutamol helps in the relaxation of the airways. They allow you to breathe more easily when you use them together. Menthol causes cough suppression and gives a soothing effect.
This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. This medicine is not recommended in pregnant and breastfeeding women. In addition, this medicine is not recommended in children below 15 years of age.
