Besolac Tablet is an antihypertensive medication used to treat high blood pressure and angina (chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart). It contains bisoprolol as the active ingredient, which works by slowing the heart rate and relaxing blood vessels, thereby reducing high blood pressure. Take this medicine in doses and for durations as prescribed by your doctor.
It can be taken with or without food. Do not miss any doses or exceed the amount recommended by your doctor. Before using this medicine, inform your doctor about your complete medical history.
This medicine should not be used during pregnancy as it may cause harm to the unborn baby. However, your doctor may prescribe you this medicine only if it is clearly necessary. Please consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Besolac is not recommended while breastfeeding as it is unknown if it passes into breast milk. Please consult your doctor before using this medicine.
You may experience dizziness as a side effect while taking this medicine. Thus you need to be cautious while driving or operating machines.
You should avoid consuming alcohol while on treatment with Besolac as it may worsen your condition.

Excess of Besolac may lead to slow heartbeats, difficulty in breathing, shakiness, low blood pressure and sugar levels, heart problems. Seek urgent medical help if you experience any symptoms or feel you have taken too much of this medicine.
In case you’ve missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember it. If it is almost time for the next dose, then skip the missed dose. Avoid taking a double dose to compensate for the missed dose.
Besolac Tablet works by blocking certain chemicals in the body that affect the heart and blood vessels, thus reducing the blood pressure, heart rate and makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body.
