Diclomac Mr Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine with muscle relaxant properties. It is used for the treatment of painful muscle spasms associated with musculoskeletal conditions. This Tablet is also used to relieve pain after operations and surgeries.
Diclomac Mr Tablet is a combination medicine containing diclofenac, paracetamol and chlorzoxazone. This Tablet works by interfering with the production of chemicals responsible for inflammatory reactions, such as prostaglandin. Also, it relaxes the muscles by sending painful signals to the brain from the site of pain.
Take it as directed by your doctor, following the recommended dose, duration, and frequency.
Diclomac Mr has to be taken as advised by the doctor with a sufficient amount of water. It is to be taken after meals. Swallow as a whole and do not chew this Tablet.
It is unsafe to take this medicine during pregnancy. Hence, it should not be taken by pregnant women. Taking this medicine during pregnancy can cause defects in the baby's heart or even delay of delivery or increase the risk of bleeding.
Components of this medicine passes into the breast milk and there is limited information regarding the safety of this medicine during pregnancy. Hence it is advised not to use this medicine if you are breastfeeding.
It is not advised to drive or use machines while using this medicine as components of this medicine may cause dizziness and even affect your ability to drive.

Do not take a double dose if you have missed the dose, take the next dose as soon as you remember.
Diclomac Mr works by the combined action of its three components. Diclofenac and Paracetamol inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for causing pain, swelling and inflammation, thus offering anti-inflammatory properties. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant that works by blocking the signals of painful sensations through the nerve to the brain, thereby reducing pain and stiffness.
No, it is not safe to take any other medicines to relieve pain along with this medicine. Concomitant use of painkillers can cause adverse effects like gastrointestinal bleeding and liver damage.
