Pregnancy

Can I take Telmipas H 40mg Tablets during pregnancy?

Telmipas H 40mg Tablets should be avoided during pregnancy as it can cause harm to the unborn baby. It is essential to always consult a doctor before starting any medicine during pregnancy.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Telmipas H 40mg Tablets while breastfeeding?

It is not recommended to breastfeed during the treatment with Telmipas H 40mg Tablets . Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding, your doctor may suggest another treatment for you if you want to breastfeed.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Telmipas H 40mg Tablets ?

You may feel dizzy or tired after taking the Telmipas H 40mg Tablets . Hence please be cautious while driving or operating any machinery.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Telmipas H 40mg Tablets ?

You should avoid consuming alcohol during the treatment with Telmipas H 40mg Tablets , as it can cause a drop in your blood pressure, dizziness or sometimes unconsciousness.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

• You have liver or kidney problems.
• You are suffering from renal artery stenosis (a condition of narrowing of the blood vessels of either of the kidneys).
• You experience sudden blood or fluid losses within your body (Hypovolemia) that may cause headaches, fatigue, nausea, dizziness.
• You are suffering from Primary aldosteronism (a condition of excess production of the hormone aldosterone from the adrenal glands).
• You may experience sugar intolerance, your blood glucose level may drop.
• You may experience electrolyte imbalance with the symptoms of dryness of mouth, thirst, drowsiness, muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, etc.
• You have galactose intolerance (small intestine's inability to transport and absorb glucose and galactose).
• You are black (as this medicine is found less effective in lowering blood pressure in black patients than in non-blacks).
• You have any kind of heart condition like ischaemic cardiopathy (when your heart muscle is weakened as a result of heart disease).
• You are suffering from glaucoma (increased pressure inside the yes).
• You may develop Non-melanoma skin cancer (types of cancer that occur in the skin that are not melanoma).
• Telmipas H 40mg Tablets is not recommended for use in patients who are below 18 years old.
