Overview

Chymoral-AP tablet is used for relieving swelling and pain in joints and bones. It is a combination medicine containing trypsin-chymotrypsin, paracetamol and aceclofenac. Trypsin and Chymotrypsin are enzymes that improve healing and stimulate tissue repair.

Paracetamol and Aceclofenac produce their action by blocking an enzyme responsible for producing chemical substances such as prostaglandins which cause inflammation and swelling. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor. You can take Chymoral AP with food to avoid stomach upset.

You should not take any other medicine containing paracetamol with Chymoral-AP.

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose of this medicine include nausea, headache, vomiting, diarrhoea, drowsiness, anorexia, abdominal pain. If you happen to take too much of this medicine inform your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital immediately. Since this medicine contains paracetamol as one of its ingredients significant overdose can also impact liver function.

Missed a Dose

It is advised to continue to take the tablets for as long as the doctor recommends. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Then, take the next dose at the right time.
