Cefixime stops bacterial growth by preventing the production of the protective layer, known as the cell wall of the bacteria.

Ofloxacin, on the other hand, interacts with the genetic material of bacteria and halts their growth. Together, these molecules inhibit bacterial growth and the spread of infection. Cefitaxe O Dry Syrup is available by prescription.

Your child's doctor will determine the dose and duration for using Cefitaxe O Dry Syrup. You should not give your child a lesser or greater amount of medicine than recommended by their doctor.
