Omicas D Capsules is an anti-reflux medicine. It is use to treat Gastrointestinal reflux disease (GERD). It is a condition where acid from the stomach comes up to the food pipe.
This backflow of acid irritates the lining of the food pipe and leads to chest pain and heartburn. Omicas D Capsules contains a combination of domperidone and omeprazole. Omicas D Capsules is used when it does not respond to omeprazole therapy alone.
It should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Take Omicas D Capsules at least 30 mins before food. Before using the , inform the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and about a detailed medical history.

Omicas D Capsules is unlikely to affect the ability to drive. However, if you experience dizziness, visual disturbances after taking this medicine avoid driving or be cautious.
There is no known interaction between alcohol and the Omicas D Capsules . However, avoid consuming alcohol as it is known to increase acidity and can make your acidity worse.

Symptoms of an overdose are dizziness, nausea, headache, confusion, agitation, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, altered consciousness, disorientation, sleepiness and tremors. If you experience any of the symptoms or think you have taken too much of the Omicas D Capsules , then contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
If you have missed taking any dose of medicine, then take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
There is a valve-like structure in between stomach and food pipe, which allows food to pass from food pipe into the stomach. In Gastrointestinal reflux disorder (GERD), the acid from the stomach goes back upwards in the food pipe. This acid then causes chest discomfort, pain, burping and damage to the food pipe.
Symptoms of GERD may include a burning sensation in the chest, upper abdominal or chest pain, trouble swallowing and nausea.
