Canrox A Tablets is a combination of Ambroxol and roxithromycin. Ambroxol belongs to class of medicines called mucolytic and roxithromycin belongs to the antibiotics class of medicine. Roxithromycin is an antibiotic belongs to a group of medicine known as macrolides.
It interferes with the protein synthesis of bacteria, thereby inhibiting the bacterial growth and helps in reducing the infection. It is used to treat respiratory tract infections like sinusitis, tonsils etc. associated with cough and mucus.
To avoid the side effects, carefully follow the instruction given by your doctor or pharmacist. You should not stop taking this medicine on your own even though the symptoms subside.
It is not recommended to be used during pregnancy. Take this medicine only if prescribed by your doctor after outweighing the benefits over risk
Components of this medicine pass in breast milk. Breastfeeding is not advised when you are taking this medicine. Consult with your doctor before breast-feeding.

Roxithromycin is an antibiotic belongs to a group of medicine known as macrolides. Canrox A Tablets in itself does not contain substances which can cause you to feel sleepy. However, if you have been prescribed multiple medicines, it is better to ask in advance to your treating physician about which of the medications can make you feel sleepy.
If Canrox A Tablets is stopped before the prescribed time, this may affect the effectiveness of this medicine and may lead to cough not being cured. Also, it is advisable not to start this medicine on one’s own wish without having a proper consultation with one’s treating physician.
