Budecort Respule is used to manage or control the symptoms of asthma. It helps in preventing the onset of asthma in children aged 12 months to 8 years. It contains budesonide as an active ingredient.
It is a steroid that functions as an anti-asthmatic agent. It helps control daily symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing, and chest pain, and it also prevents the worsening of these symptoms. It should always be administered with the help of nebulisers.
A Nebuliser is a machine that creates a mist of medicine, allowing it to reach the lungs easily. Your doctor or pharmacist will provide guidance on how to use nebulisers properly. You should take Budecort regularly as directed by your doctor for effective asthma management.

When budesonide is inhaled via nebuliser, it penetrates directly into the inner lining of the airways. It decreases the symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing and chest discomfort and facilitates breathing.
It is recommended that inhalation should be performed before meals to avoid fungal infection of the mouth, rinse your mouth after every use.
The dose, duration and frequency of nebulization are decided by your doctor and it varies among individuals depending on many medical factors. Consult your doctor before initiating treatment or changing the dose.
