Bromitine Tablet is a dopamine receptor agonist. It contains bromocriptine as active ingredient which may be used as an adjuvant therapy for improvement of glycemic control with type 2 diabetes in adults.
The use of this medicine may or may not be safe in pregnant women. If pregnancy detected while taking this medicine inform your doctor immediately. Do not stop taking your medicine until your doctor tells you to.
This medicine is contraindicated to use in breast-feeding women as it was shown to slow down the process of milk production. Discuss your medical condition with your doctor before using this medicine.
This medicine may make one feel dizzy and drowsy and sometimes fatigue. You may not drive or may not perform any activities related to mental alertness. It is always recommended to consult your doctor and decide
Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medicine as alcohol may affect the concentration of this medicine in your body and can also affect its desired action.
Talk to your doctor if
You cannot take this medicine in treating type 1 diabetes or Ketoacidosis (serious complication due to very high levels of ketones-blood acids)
You should never miss a dose of this medicine and take the missed dose as soon as possible. Never take two doses to compensate for the missed dose.
This medicine helps in controling the glycemic levels in type 2 diabetes in adults as an additional therapy with other anti-diabetic medications.
