When using the BPL Stethoscope ST-01, it is recommended to perform auscultation in a quiet environment to maximize the ability to discern subtle sounds. The chestpiece should be placed directly on the skin, not over clothing, as fabric can significantly impede sound transmission. Different parts of the chestpiece (diaphragm and bell) are designed for specific frequency ranges and should be utilized accordingly.

Regular inspection of the tubing and eartips for any signs of wear or damage is advised to ensure continued functionality and patient safety.
