Biopride Tablet is a medicine used for the treatment of acid reflux disease and gastric motility disorders leading to indigestion, heartburn and delayed gastric emptying. It contains cinitapride as its active ingredient. Your doctor can prescribe you this medicine for a short or long duration, depending on your condition.

This medicine can make one feel dizzy and drowsy. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you.
Although there is no known interaction with alcohol along with this medicine. So, it is important to consult your physician if you drink too often.

An overdose of this medicine can make the individual experience dizziness, drowsiness, involuntary movement of hands, feet, facial muscles tongue, etc. and it should be immediately reported to your treating doctor or nearby hospital. Always carry the package of the tablet along with you for easy assessment of the severity of an overdose.
If you have missed taking any dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of this medicine to compensate for the missed one.
Biopride Tablet contains cinitapride as its active ingredient. It works by acting on the inner lining of gastric tissues to increase the movement of food throughout the digestive tract. It also increases the secretion of acetylcholine in the stomach, thereby increasing the gastric motility, gastric emptying and improves gastro-duodenal coordination.
Biopride Tablet is used for the treatment of gastric acid reflux and delayed gastric emptying (slow bowel movement).
Yes, both cause an increase in acidity. Smoking also relaxes a valve present between the food pipe and stomach. This leads to stomach acid flowing back into the food pipe. This worsens reflux/ GERD disorders.
