Vancowar Cp Injection affects the bacterial-cell-membrane and RNA synthesis and kills the bacteria (bactericidal). This medicine primarily inhibits bacterial cell-wall biosynthesis leading to reduction of infection.
The safety and effectiveness of Vancowar Cp Injection in children has not been established.
Dosage adjustment may be necessary for elderly with impaired kidney functions. Thus, do not take this medicine without discussing with your doctor.
Your doctor will prescribe a dose as per your clinical condition. You should not stop this medicine abruptly.
Vancowar Cp Injection is not active against infections due to gram-negative bacilli, mycobacteria, or fungi. Your doctor might give you another antibiotic for the same.
There is no cross-resistance between Vancowar Cp Injection and other antibiotics.
